Custom French Butter Bell- Grey Speckled- PREORDER

Custom butter bell. Please contact me prior to ordering with your request. I am able to engrave text into your butter bell or make a custom size. 

This ceramic butter bell is handmade in my studio on the beautiful Barrington Coast of NSW. Each item is thrown on the pottery wheel in 2 parts, then fired and glazed on the inside only so that you can see and feel the beautiful raw clay texture every time you use it. The natural clay is a gorgeous grey with tiny speckles, and finished with a matte white glaze on the interior. This design allows for water to be poured on the inside of the larger piece, with butter packed into the smaller side in order to keep your butter fresh on the bench and at a spreadable temperature. Help to reduce your plastic waste by buying butter in sticks!

Standard size measures approx 9x9cm- this is a handmade item so size varies between items, all part of the charm!
